Introduction
This is a short guide for experienced Proxmox VE 1.x users who want to test the Proxmox VE 2.0 beta. For the current beta there is no upgrade path from 1.x to 2.x, so this is for fresh ISO installations only.
Additionally, we will to provide a howto for Install Proxmox VE on Debian Squeeze
Get the ISO
Download the ISO image and move it to a USB media, see Install from USB Stick. Or just burn a CD.
Start the installation, new boot options
- The installer supports now partitions greater 2 TB
- Default partitioning uses still ext3, if you want ext4 just type 'linux ext4' on the boot prompt
- follow the instructions as always
For any issue, please use the Proxmox VE 2.0 beta forum.
