My name is José Raul Romero Mera
I live in Popayán, Colombia, I am a student of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Cauca with Emphasis on Telecommunications. Currently, I work in development project: “Troubleshooting High Availability (HA) and load balancing for Web Service Data Network at the University of Cauca” and I job a local telecommunications company.
My Academic interests are:
- Administration and management of telecommunications networks.
- IP and wireless communications.
- Implementation of Free Software and Open Source (FLOSS) both in business and education and for general use.
- Project planning and development of telecommunications and telematics services taking into account new open standards.
- Computer Security.
- Quality Assessment Methodologies for Free and Open Source Software (FLOSS).
- Administration and management of CPD's (Data Centers).
I am Linux Registered User # 377848 and I am a member of Grupo GNU/Linux de la Universidad del Cauca, a LUG of University of Cauca.
