I am a long time (since 1984) unix hacker and open source contributor. I have been involved with Apache HTTPD (I wrote the first contributed module, mod_auth_mysql), mod_perl (wrote lots of documentation and refined many optimization patterns for configuring Apache httpd), Postgres (power user, mostly helping people on the mailing lists), Postifx (mailing list contributor, power user) FreeBSD (ports maintainer, documentation, mailing list contributor). I have contributed patches and documentation to many other small and medium sized projects as well.
