Hi Michael,

move disk is more "copy disk" to new storage.

So it shouldn't be a problem, you can choose any destination storage or format.

Objet: [pve-devel] possible bug in move disk

Hi all,

If you try to move a disk which is a linked clone to another disk there
is no check of the target format. At least in this situation:

1) A linked clone stored as qcow2
2) User wants to move this disk to a storage only supporting raw
3) The move disk panel allows the user to choose any storage format.

PS. I have not tried what happens if I where to choose any other format
than raw - system is running production.
