Do you mean it doesn't work without proxy_arp ?

(I see proxy_arp like a protection for some hosting provider which block unknown mac adress, which seem ok for bridged network,
but I don't see why we need this for routing,as tap macaddress arp request shouldn't go out through eth0)

about network guest configuration, I have done a setup like this:

ip: 192.168.1.1
netmask : 255.255.255.255
gateway : 192.168.1.1

seem to works. (I can ping host ips).

Note that I don't have yet tested to go outside proxmox host, I need to setup routes on my external routers for packets return .

About dhcp, how does it work without bridge ?
Can dnsmasq listen directly on the guest tap interface ?

Well, I am open to better solutions if you know any? But this
was the only way to get it work here.
