I get your point. The storage model in Proxmox guaranties that any host
part of a cluster will have "local" access to the same storages except
for local of course. Things looks very promissing:-)

As I see it currently will can use what I already has sent to this list
for off-line migration and the we need to implement the drive-mirror
for on-line migration to complete storage migration. I should think I
would be able to complete this part so I can release a rc after this
weekend.

Only outstanding issue is about encryption. My proposal will be to have
an option in the GUI for choosing to tunnel the migration through a ssh
tunnel since this is already implemented in the current Proxmox code
base? But I do think the default behavior should be the libvirt way
which is without encryption. This is also, as I understand it, the way
VmWare does it in vMotion.
