Yes, slow NFS servers/network is known to cause failing backup with VM 
crush. As workaround, you can try enable GZIP compression. It shall slow 
down NFS writes enough to let NAS server do its job. If it's not enough 
then try set bwlimit in /etc/vzdump.conf.
