[pve-devel] qemu 4.4 : rbd : snapshot memory, savevm is hanging

some news,

it seem to be a ceph regression is last hammer,

setting

[client]
        rbd_non_blocking_aio = false

(which revert to old behaviour)

fix the problem for me, when cache=none (or rbd_cache=false) is used


I have sent a mail to ceph mailing to debug that.

@wolfgang: do you still have those patches to use a dedicated thread for savevm?
