also, it seem that currently it's only working with gtk3, for local virtualisation.
(Don't known if users use proxmox on their debian desktop ? ;)

spice support is planned for later.

Oh yes you are right !  it can wait for proxmox 4.2.

That one's gonna be interesting, but also needs guest-support.

Gonna need the 4.4 kernel upgrade first for userfaultfd support. 
Since the snapshot code reuses migration/savevm code we're gonna 
have to take care to enable and disable this feature only for 
migration.
