Objet: [pve-devel] nfs over vsock

Hi,

I'm looking to implemented mounting share on my customers vm,
mainly cephfs and nfs, without need to give vm access to storage network.

I have found this article

https://vmsplice.net/~stefan/stefanha-connectathon-2016.pdf

and also
https://agenda.infn.it/getFile.py/access?contribId=10&resId=0&materialId=slides&confId=11612
(openstack Manila hypervisor-mediated FsaaS)

Seem that qemu support mount an nfs from guest , through a socket (vsock).
Then on host, it can be cephfs, nfs or any other fs.

Does somebody have already tried it ?

I'll try to take some time this month
