my target-configuration would be:

2 proxmox-nodes, the lvm for the vm's is mirrored between them with drbd (active/active). so, if i lose one node i can start the "lost" vm's on the remaining node. i don't have a real redundant shared storage, so mirroring the local lvm seems to be my safest bet, since disk-space is not an issue nowadays.
to build the mirror between the nodes should not be too difficult, but would the two nodes get confused if they both have all the vm's (config and virtual disks) local? will the proxmox-ve cluster see them duplicate?

Drdb active/active would be possible-  but again, not tested and implemented yet.
