The suggested way is to mount an external file system (via nfs or cifs)

Subject: [PVE-User] vzdump can't save to local file system

I am wanting to use vzdump to backup boxes on my Proxmox cluster.
Ideally I want to use the snapshot method but the issue I am running
into is saving the file. I need to save the file on a remote system
because I do not have the space to save the file on the local file
system. Is there an easy way to do this with vzdump or do I have to use
some file system tricks like sshfs or nfs?
