It finds new luns, yes.

But it doesn't find the changes to luns.

For example:

san3:/etc/tgt# lvresize -L+1G /dev/san3/test2
   Extending logical volume test2 to 2.00 GB
   Logical volume test2 successfully resized



Even when you do "rescan" on the initiator, the size is still old:

# fdisk -l /dev/sdai

Disk /dev/sdai: 1073 MB, 1073741824 bytes
34 heads, 61 sectors/track, 1011 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 2074 * 512 = 1061888 bytes
Disk identifier: 0x00000000

Disk /dev/sdai doesn't contain a valid partition table


It also does not detect if the luns are removed.
