[PVE-User] Must Xen be restarted if any of eth settings are touched?

When you make changes to that section of the web interface, the
pvedaemon creates a diff file called /etc/network/interfaces.new. You
can see it withing the web interface if you click the link to show
changes at the top of the section.

Rebooting causes these changes to me properly merged to the
/etc/network/interfaces file prior to /etc/init.d/networking starting.

Simply restarting /etc/init.d/networking is only effective in the
scenario where the /etc/network/interfaces file has been edited directly
by hand.

  Hello,

I am wondering why the Reboot message comes up when a
/etc/init.d/networking restart might just as well apply all the
changes made to networking on the GUI?

Thanks
