[PVE-User] Is ulimit function limited in Proxmox vms?

Hi Everyone,

The asterisk safe script is trying to set ulimit like this:
ulimit -n 2462690

and is getting this as message back:
-bash: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Operation not permitted

Is "ulimit" allowed within a CentOS 5.5 OpenVZ template?

VM mode.
