As you already recognized in the post "PVE 2.1 and HA with drbd...",
corosync is already installed on proxmox and is used for ha.

Why don't you use it? You have only to configure it as clearly reported
in the documentation, with the most important requirement to have a
fencing device (same requirement of the usual corosync).

You cannot install corosync from debian because it conflicts with
corosync-pve, needed by pve-cluster, but in fact they are exactly the
same program with only minor differences.
