Hi,
thanks for tour answer.
It's a little bit frightening in fact.
It's has been proven, that without battery backup cache, performance
are awful; but in spite of everything, it seems indeed you're right
about perf :
http://www.overclock.net/t/515068/tuning-a-hp-smart-array-p400-with-linux-why-tuning-really-matters
for instance.
Even with tuning,8 SAS disks leading to 300MB/s is not very impressive
at all!

Should i ask for other HP raid controller ?
