[PVE-User] Is it safe to stop a backup task by webgui STOP ?

Hi,

I have a running backup of a big VM, but it would be necessary to stop the process.

On the web interface, when I open the running task view, there is a stop button.

My question, is it safe to stop the process? Does the system take care of rollback the lvm snapshot etc.?
