Well, as the system is, at it's base, a linux system, use just about anything you want.

I've got my systems running on Dell hardware, so I'm using the Dell OMSA and SNMP package available in the repositories.

For remote, there are things like nagios/icinga

I have few remote PVE hosts. Last week I found a disk problem on one of these hosts incidentally. How can I monitor them against hardware problems, especially raid/disk errors?
