Live migration is possible if you configure LVM over the LUN's and
remember not to use direct LUN. But no snapshot functionality from
inside proxmox and only kvm but snapshots maybe can be made from within
x3550M4?

You could however, create a cluster filesystem on the LUN's like
glusterfs and then use Qcow2 as storage for your VM's. This will give
you both live migration and live snapshots for both kvm and openvz
containers.
