[PVE-User] backup archive (qcow2)

Dear all

my pve-host runs latest updates
and I have just made one p2v action with one w2k3 .

VM contains one 240GB hdd  in qcow2 format and there is only 80GB of 
data on it

But after the backup (LZO) the archive size was also 240GB big ?!?

Is it because I made p2v before or something else ? ... What could cause 
that archive size is as big as physical HDD size ?
