[PVE-User] Using Veam Backups to transfer VM's ?

What I did in such a situation was the following:
- Stop al VMWare VMs
- Download VM disks to another media (optionally check that you can run 
successfully them on another proxmox server)
- Format vSphere server to Proxmox
- copy and qemu-img the disk images

I suggest you uninstall vmware tools before stopping the VMs.
