[PVE-User] vm----proxmox----switch---proxmox2---vm2

for vm1 and vm2, are the LAN interfaces on the same subnet/vlan?  A diagram
with sample subnets might help, my initial suspect would be a ip route
issue if they're not on the same vlan.
