[PVE-User] vmbr0 issues with openvz container

Further info.
I try to invoke this command manually from commandline, but no effect:
ip addr add 0 dev veth106.0
dmesg output is this:
-------
CT: 106: started
device veth106.0 entered promiscuous mode
audit(1227455890.507:27): dev=veth106.0 prom=256 old_prom=0
auid=4294967295
eth0: no IPv6 routers present
-------

When I invoke the 'ifconfig veth106.0 0'  it switches on the device and
I found this in the dmesg:
-------
vmbr0: port 2(veth106.0) entering learning state
vmbr0: topology change detected, propagating
vmbr0: port 2(veth106.0) entering forwarding state
veth106.0: no IPv6 routers present
-------

I do not really understand, why the 'ip' command doesn't work.
