As system administrator at a mid sized german company I am used to administer virtuallized environments. No surprise, that I wished to virtuallize my private Servers, too. While searching for the perfect hypervisor for private (non-professional) use I found, that Proxmox might be the one. My plan so far is: building my own cheap SAN, check which dedicated Servers could run in a virtual machine in future and build a Server that has enough cpu cores and memory to run at least 10 VMs...
