I am Systems Adminitrator for RAPID transport applications in Auckland City, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia with Sigtec Ltd. We provide real time passenger information displays, and tracking for all public tranportation in the city. The server software and most of the field gear run on Linux. Our current implementation is hosted on a large virtual cluster.
