My name is José Raul Romero Mera

I live in Popayán, Colombia, I am a student of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Cauca with Emphasis on Telecommunications. Currently, I work in development project: “Troubleshooting High Availability (HA) and load balancing for Web Service Data Network at the University of Cauca” and I job a local telecommunications company.

My Academic interests are:

• Administration and management of telecommunications networks.
• IP and wireless communications.
• Implementation of Free Software and Open Source (FLOSS) both in business and education and for general use.
• Project planning and development of telecommunications and telematics services taking into account new open standards.
• Computer Security.
• Quality Assessment Methodologies for Free and Open Source Software (FLOSS).
• Administration and management of CPD's (Data Centers).
